Important information about our brokerage relationship with Alpaca Securities LLC and the regulatory protections available to you.

1. Brokerage Relationship
dollarcostaverage.ai is a technology platform that provides automated dollar-cost averaging tools. dollarcostaverage.ai is not a broker-dealer and does not execute securities transactions directly.
All securities brokerage services are provided by Alpaca Securities LLC, a registered broker-dealer and member of:
Your account is governed by Alpaca's Customer Agreement and applicable FINRA and SEC rules. Verify Alpaca's registration via FINRA BrokerCheck.
2. SIPC Protection
Securities in your Alpaca brokerage account are protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC):

3. FDIC Insurance (Cash Sweep)
Uninvested cash may be swept into FDIC-insured deposit accounts at partner banks through Alpaca's cash sweep program.
- FDIC coverage up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank.
- Multiple partner banks may provide aggregate coverage above $250,000.
- FDIC protects against bank failure only — not investment losses.
Securities (stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies) are not FDIC insured. FDIC applies only to swept cash deposits.
4. Investment Risk Disclosures
Investing in securities involves risk. You may lose some or all of your investment.
General Investment Risks
- Past performance is not indicative of future results.
- Dollar-cost averaging does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss.
- Securities may fluctuate significantly due to market conditions and economic factors.
- No assurance that any investment strategy will achieve its objectives.
Cryptocurrency Risks
- Highly volatile with rapid price swings.
- Not legal tender; not backed by any government.
- Not protected by SIPC and not FDIC insured.
- Regulatory changes may adversely affect value or tradability.
Fractional Shares
Investments may result in fractional share purchases. Fractional shares are not transferable to another brokerage. Upon account closure, fractional positions will be liquidated at market price.
5. Not a Registered Investment Adviser
dollarcostaverage.ai is not a registered investment adviser with the SEC or any state regulatory authority. We do not provide investment advice, financial planning, tax advice, or recommendations regarding securities.
Tools and information on our platform are for informational and automation purposes only. Nothing should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.
You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits and risks of your investment decisions. We encourage consulting with a qualified financial adviser.
6. Commission Disclosure
dollarcostaverage.ai charges a per-trade commission on each executed order, expressed in basis points (bps). This is our primary revenue source.

Conflict of interest: We earn revenue on each executed order. We mitigate this by giving you full control — choose your amounts, schedules, and pause or cancel at any time without penalty.
7. Order Routing and Execution
All orders are submitted to Alpaca Securities LLC as market orders. Alpaca routes orders to market centers, exchanges, and liquidity providers in accordance with best execution duties under FINRA rules.

8. Business Continuity
We maintain a business continuity plan for critical operations during disruptions. In the event of a significant disruption:
- Pending executions may be delayed until service is restored.
- Your Alpaca brokerage account remains accessible directly through Alpaca regardless of our operational status.
- Your assets are held at Alpaca Securities LLC, not at dollarcostaverage.ai.
